It’s been a little over a year since the release of my debut album, The Rescue. Thanks to everyone who has supported the record from day one. It means so much to me! It’s particularly special this week as we approach Easter, and more importantly, as we remember what Christ has done for us on the cross. He will always be our hope and our rest – our rescue! I hope that you’re able to share that message with someone that might need it this week!

Washed Over Me (Official Music Video) Premiers on GodTube

I’m excited to announce that the official music video for my new single, “Washed Over Me,” is making its world premier today on GodTube! You’ll see some social media buttons below the video, so please use them by sharing and liking the video today. I hope that the message of “Washed Over Me” is shared with as many people as possible!

“Washed Over Me” is about the love of Jesus Christ and the victory that is found only through Him. It’s inspired by the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross, and the power of His blood that sets us free and gives us life. It’s because of His great love for us, that we have been made alive, even when we were dead in our sins. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” It’s because of this love that my life has been changed. “I’ve been washed, I’ve been cleansed, and I have been made free. I’ve been bought by the blood that my King has bled for me. The sweetest victory, won at Calvary where His love, all His love washed over me.”

That message is shown in the video as a Dad realizes that God sees him just as he sees his own children. The filth and sin in his life is washed away by that realization that God has already made us new through the power of His love and death on the cross.

It’s only been a few months since I released my debut album, The Rescue, which wouldn’t have been possible without the help and encouragement I received from my friends, Jeremy Camp and Andy Dodd. Since releasing the album, I’ve continued to tour with Francesca Battistelli and Jeremy Camp as part of the We Cry Out Tour. It has been an absolutely amazing experience and I’m excited to get back on the road for more shows this summer.
